CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE · PRIORITY SYSTEMS

From old inspection PDFs to records in Essential

Estimator Todd N uploads older inspection PDFs into Essential. Service manager Harris S receives paperless tickets as soon as jobs are completed. Their experiences show how Priority Systems is bringing its existing records and fieldwork into the same system.

“I can simply upload a PDF of an existing report, and Essential reads the information and transfers it directly into the system.”Todd N, Estimator, Priority Systems, Inc.

THE CHALLENGE

Bringing useful history out of an in-house system

Priority Systems had developed its own software to hold customer and site information, panel details and inspection reports. Moving to Essential meant preparing that information for import and checking how customers and sites should be linked.

The transition also gave the company a chance to revisit an approximately 20-year-old work order. It contained fields that often did not apply. Priority and Essential discussed a simpler version focused on site and contact details, the reported issue, service performed, parts used and a customer signature.

THE EXPERIENCE

Using the reports the company already had

Todd calls importing older reports one of the features he uses most. It gives the company a way to bring the inspection PDFs it already has into Essential.

FROM FIELD TO OFFICE

Paperless tickets as jobs are completed

“Technicians can do paperless tickets. I get all the tickets as soon as the jobs are completed. Scheduling is easy.”Harris S, Service Manager, Priority Systems, Inc.

Priority met with Essential for technician training, with a follow-up recording and a work acknowledgment walkthrough available to revisit afterward. Todd’s experience of getting help was equally direct:

“Anytime I’ve had an issue or question, the staff has been easy to reach and quick to respond.”Todd N, Estimator, Priority Systems, Inc.
